Our National Flag - Our Pride The national flag of India depicts the nation as an entity. Our national flag represents hopes and aspirations of the people of our country hence we respect it and give it the highest honour. The feeling of patriotism and loyalty to our country are ingrained in the minds of individual's right from the time they are in the school. We at Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School abide by all the laws, practices and conventions that apply to display of the national flag. As our national flag represents the pride of the nation, we as citizen of India should treat it with respect. People should stand in attention respecting the flag while hoisting or lowering the flag. During events flags made of paper and cloth should be used. Flags should not be discarded or thrown on the ground after an event.
