To foster the spirit of service and contribution, Sacred Heart's Umeed Rotary Interact Club conducted the investiture ceremony today. The occasion was graced by Chandigarh's Rotary President Rtn. Vinod Kapoor, Rtn. Teena Virk and Rtn. Anil Chadha. Rev. Sr Arti, the Principal, welcomed the guests. The ceremony commenced by invoking the blessings of the Almighty and lighting of the lamp. Ojasvita, The Umeed President and Vanya, Vice President apprised the members about the several social upliftment initiatives and outreach programmes undertaken by the Rotary Interact Club. Rtn. Vinod Kapoor along with Rtn Teena and Rtn Anil and Rev Sr Arti conferred badges to the office bearers of the Interact Club. Rtn. Vinod Kapoor impressed upon the importance of service for humanity. He congratulated the new council and motivated them to engage in fruitful activities.
