The Pre-Primary wing of Sacred Heart joyfully celebrated Poshan Maah with great enthusiasm and learning. Each class participated in engaging and meaningful activities centered around healthy eating.
Nursery students enjoyed a fun-filled day as their teachers prepared fresh salad right in the classroom, which was then distributed among all the children. The LKG students brought nutritious tiffins from home and their teachers discussed the importance of various nutrients that help us stay strong and healthy. They also enjoyed a creative paper tearing and pasting activity where they beautifully decorated apples using coloured paper.
In UKG, children watched an interesting and informative video on healthy eating habits. The too had a day of healthy tiffin followed by an engaging and interesting discussion in the class with their teachers. This was followed by a drawing activity of healthy and not so healthy food. The students of Class I created a vibrant collage comparing healthy and not-so-healthy foods. These collages were later laminated to be used as personalized food mats — a creative reminder to make healthy choices every day.
The celebrations truly helped the young learners understand the importance of eating right and taking care of their health while having fun together.
