Description:
Various activities were organised at Scared Heart School to observe 'National
Space Day' declared by the government to commemorate the success of
Chandrayan -3 mission.
On 23rd a video was shown to the students of all the classes showcasing
celebration of National Space Day at Bharat Mandapam and quiz was
conducted in the classes creating awareness and engaging them towards
space technology and and its applications.
On the same day, 100 students of class 9 and 10 were taken to NITTR SEC-
26 CHANDIGARH for an quite informative and captivating session.
The programme was started by first showing up the live video of the President
of India addressing about National Space Day at Bharat Mandapam, New
Delhi. After that Mr. HS JATANA shared his experience working in this field
and then explained about space and technology.
Going in detail he shared about:
1) First country which successfully launched a satellite.
2) Different space crafts and space vehicles eg. GSLVs etc.
4) ISRO and it's success story.
3) The whole process of building, checking, repairing and launching of a
satellite.
At the end of the programme students asked few questions.
It was really an interactive session for the space enthusiasts and the ones
who are going to take up space science.
