In a world where academic excellence must go hand-in-hand with moral strength, we proudly hosted a two-day CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Integrity and Ethics—a transformative learning experience for educators committed to shaping value-driven individuals.
Held on campus, the workshop brought together a distinguished panel of resource persons: Dr. Manjari Tejpal, Principal, GEMS Public School Patiala; Ms. Neerja Sethi, Principal, Sri Aurobindo International School Patiala; Mr. Arun John Masih, Principal, Chandigarh Baptist School; and Ms. Shifalika, PGT, Chandigarh Baptist School. Their collective expertise and dynamic facilitation style created an environment of active engagement and critical reflection.
The programme unfolded through a thoughtfully curated schedule of activities that included ice-breakers, thought-provoking games, AV presentations, moral reasoning exercises based on Kohlberg’s stages of development, and meaningful discussions on the teacher’s role as a moral compass. Sessions such as “The X-Y Game,” “News Headlines: The Janusian Way,” and “My Circle of Concern, Influence and Control” provided immersive, hands-on learning experiences that encouraged collaboration, self-awareness, and empathy.
Participants explored the nuances of ethics in education and were guided to build classroom cultures rooted in trust, fairness, and responsibility. The interactive nature of the sessions and the real-world relevance of the content ensured that every moment was both engaging and impactful.
As the programme drew to a close, planters were presented to the resource persons—symbolizing the seeds of wisdom they had sown and the growth they had inspired. The school expressed heartfelt gratitude to the CBSE, the school management, coordinators, non-teaching staff, and above all, the Almighty, whose grace made this event a resounding success.
