World Hand Hygiene Day is celebrated every year on May 5.
To mark the importance of this day, students were briefed on the importance of washing hands at regular intervals, before and after meals, to prevent the spread of infection and diseases. They were advised to follow the correct way of washing hands and follow healthy personal hygiene habits in their day-to-day routine.
