Description:
The week long celebrations organized by “Woodsia Alpina”, the Eco club, of our school to mark Van Mahotsav culminated today with a mesmerizing programme. The chief guest, Debendra Dalai, IFS, chief conservator of UT forest, commended the school’s efforts and concern for environmental conservation. He was also appreciative of the programme put up by the students. The students from the school for the blind, held the audience enthralled with their melodious song. Rev. Sr Arti presented tokens of appreciation to the Chief Guest, the Guest of honour, Mr Pramod Sharma and Sr Anupa, the coordinator of Punjab region for St Clare province. The role play “Green glory to concrete story” and “Greening the blue” were the highlights of the function. Podh Mela was also inaugurated followed by the sapling plantation drive.
