Description:
As young leaders and the future of the planet, the children of today must be aware of the challenges that the planet faces. The importance of green cover and the role that trees and plants play in making the Earth liveable is unparalleled. To celebrate Van Mahotsav, a special day that focuses on the matter, the students of the Primary Social Service Club ( class V Athos and Etna) took an initiative to beautify their school campus and corridors with potted plants. They chose the Periwinkle plant, which is a symbol of resistance and strength as it blossoms the year round weathering heat and cold. The students felt pride and joy as they handed over these plants to their mentors and schoolmates, as well as held a rally to raise awareness about the need to protect our forests and trees.
