The grand closing ceremony of Sacred Heart Model United Nations (SHS MUN) 2025 was held with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event commenced with a warm “Bienvenue” followed by “Whispers of Soul,” a soulful prayer invoking blessings for peace and wisdom. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp – “Let Your Light Shine” – symbolized the spirit of enlightenment and learning.

The school had the honour of hosting Ms. Sharan Kaur as the Chief Guest and Ms. Diljott as the Guest of Honour. Both eminent personalities shared inspiring words that encouraged students to lead with purpose and compassion.

The programme showcased a rich blend of performances, including the graceful “Anant Arpan” prayer dance, an energetic Hip Hop performance titled “Urban Gabrus,” and the vibrant “Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye” Bhangra that set the stage ablaze with joy and rhythm.

The event also celebrated the triumphs and achievements of various committees—UNSC, IPL, UNCND, WHO, MARVEL vs DC, UNICEF, AIPPM, IP, UNHRC, and UNCSW—recognising delegates for their commendable debating and diplomatic skills. The prestigious titles of Outstanding School and Best School were awarded to Smart Wonders School, Mohali and Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, respectively, while BVC was declared the Best Overall School.

Special felicitation ceremonies honoured the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour, and the Organising Committee members, followed by inspiring addresses from Adv. Priyanshu Grover and Ms. Shabad Tiwana. The OC Waltz added a touch of elegance, celebrating the spirit of teamwork and leadership.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Ms. Alka, expressing gratitude to all participants and mentors, and a rendition of the National Anthem, marking a proud culmination of SHS MUN 2025.
